Funding

How Nearest Territory is funded

Income for Nearest Territory comes from three paid links. They appear on its home page, and each one bears the label Ad. Nothing else is paid: this site receives no money from casinos, operators, AGLC, Play Alberta or help services.

What is never paid for

This site receives no money from casinos, operators, AGLC, the Alberta iGaming Corporation, Play Alberta or help services. No paid links appear on the 30 casino pages, the zone hubs or any other inner page. Nobody pays for the links that point to casinos or help services, either.

Territory sizes come from an equal-area map of Alberta, measured in square kilometres. Every distance is a straight line, not road, between two map points, computed by the guide from OpenStreetMap coordinates. Lists follow those measured figures, and nobody pays to change their order. No casino in the guide receives a rating, a score or a star.

Questions

Do casinos pay to be included in the guide?

Not one casino pays for a place here, and the same holds for operators, AGLC, the Alberta iGaming Corporation and Play Alberta. Each of the 30 casinos has a page because it has slot machines or VLTs and AGLC casino status.

Who is the online partner behind the paid links?

It is a private online casino, chosen by the site's link partner, and it can change. It is not Play Alberta, is not run by AGLC or the Alberta iGaming Corporation, and has no tie to any casino here.
